How does the doctor keep
up to date on all of the current techniques and materials?
Because we are committed to providing our patients with the best care
possible, we are constantly learning about and evaluating any new dental
techniques
or treatments. To keep current, Dr. Dyer and his team take many hours
of continuing education each year, including classes at the Las Vegas
Institute
for Advanced Dental Studies.

Do I have to floss every day? Is it really that important?
Yes, it really is. Flossing loosens food particles in tight spaces
your toothbrush cannot reach and gets rid of plaque build-up
toothbrushes alone cannot remove. This reduces your risk for periodontal
disease,
which has been linked to systemic diseases such as diabetes,
stroke and heart disease.

What is smile analysis?
Smile Analysis is a comprehensive evaluation of your smile's health,
function and aesthetics. Dr. Dyer will evaluate your
teeth,
gums, occlusion as well as your facial bone structure and lip line
symmetry. The results will not only direct basic preventive treatment
but can give you a look at what cosmetic solutions you may be interested
in.

What is smile design?
Your face is not like anyone else’s—your smile shouldn’t
be either. That’s why we takes into account the unique features
of your face, including its symmetry and lip line. Working with you,
we’ll develop a unique “perfect” smile,
one that is proportional and flattering to your face. Smile design
will allow us to show you what that perfect smile can look like.
